Agent
A process on a physical or virtual computer directly generating load on the service under test.
For projects in which agents are not explicitly specified, the main agent is used, installed together with the gig on the main PS.
Agents can be launched automatically with the help of cloud providers or manually:
Manual installation
Agent can be installed in your environment as a Docker container. To install, you must have Docker-compose installed.
Just download the archive from our downloads page with the configuration files and run the 'agent' batch file from the downloaded archive.
The necessary docker containers will be downloaded and launched.
Cloud
GeekLoad clouds are a source of agents united in locations. Multiple locations can be used to increase the load and check availability from different geofences using distribution.
All providers except the private one automatically launch the required number of agents before the test and stop them after the test.
All agent providers have common properties, with the help of which the GeekLoad calculates the right number of agents for the test and prevents unacceptable costs for running agents in a paid infrastructure.

The provider searches for agents containing the tags listed in the tags property among the manually installed agents.
.kubernetes
The provider automatically launches the required number of agents in your Kubernetes infrastructure.
.amazon
The provider automatically launches the required number of agents in your Amazon account.
.custom
The provider automatically launches the required number of agents using the specified command line of arbitrary CLI clients.
